PTO funds are available!

This year every teacher will get $200, each staff member will get $100, and the elementary and high schools will each get $1,000.

It’s our goal to give you additional financial support so you won’t have to spend your own funds - or ask for students to bring money - for those extra items you want to provide for your students.

Spending your PTO money

It’s easier than ever to access money from the PTO because we’re giving teachers $200 at the start of the year. Think of this as money to be used support teaching and learning in your classroom.

Here are some suggestions on how to put your money to good use:

  • Classroom supplies

  • Snacks and treats

  • Class parties or events

  • Student rewards

We’re excited to also give $100 to all staff members. Consider spending this money on something that can support the students you work with or make your job a little easier.

To use your allocated funds, you’ll first need administrative approval.

$1,000 for each school

Over the years, PTO has funded parties, events, field trips, and more for groups of students in our schools. This year, to help with planning and budgeting, we’re giving $1,000 to each school for items like these. Consider this money for funding things that can support the entire school or groups of students or teachers. Some great ways to spend this money could be:

  • Lyceums or other educational or social/emotional learning

  • Extracurricular fees for teams or groups

  • Continuing education opportunities

  • School parties, programs, events, or field trips

Quarterly fund requests

If there are additional items you’d like the PTO to consider covering, we’ll still be accepting fund requests on a quarterly basis. Funding request deadlines are as follows:

  • November 1, 2024 (meeting date: November 20)

  • February 1, 2025 (meeting date: February 19)

  • May 1, 2025 (meeting date: May 21)

  • August 1, 2025 (meeting date: August 20)
